Whether it’s booking a visit from our Student Ambassadors, ordering publications, being in the know about the latest UNSW events or finding out who to contact to get more information for your students, we’ve got you covered.

Please note: Following government advice relating to COVID-19, we are postponing all in-person outreach and events until at least the end of June. In addition to providing live-streamed school presentations, UNSWorkshops and digital events, we will shortly be launching a suite of dedicated virtual resources for high schools and students. These will be accessible below, in addition to our existing resources for careers advisers and teachers.

Delivered by our knowledgeable Future Students Outreach Team and Student Ambassadors, we offer a range of outreach activities to ensure your students have access to the information they need when considering their future studies.

Please note: All activities are subject to availability and must be booked at least two weeks in advance. UNSWorkshop activities require four weeks’ notice for booking requests.

School Visits

Our school visit presentations are delivered by our experienced Student Ambassador team who will give your students an insight into our course offerings, student experience and vibrant campus community. Presentations are typically 30-40 minutes in duration, including a Q&A session, and can be tailored to suit your particular needs.

Campus Tours

Led by our friendly Student Ambassadors, let us take you and your students on a tour of our Kensington campus and discover all that the UNSW student experience has to offer. Typically two hours in duration, our tours cover the key sights and facilities across our vibrant campus and include a UNSW presentation. An optional visit to the Museum of Human Disease or UNSWorkshops can also be arranged, subject to availability and capacity.

Tours are also available for our UNSW Art and Design campus in Paddington where our Student Ambassadors will provide your students with a behind the scenes look at our cutting-edge design workshops, digital production facilities, traditional fine arts studios and museum-standard galleries.

Careers Markets

We attend a variety of high school careers markets throughout the year, engaging with both students and broader school communities to provide information on our course offerings and student experience.

Digital Presentation

Can’t make it to campus? Let us come to you as we live-stream a presentation by our Student Ambassadors directly into your classroom for your students, complete with Q&A.

UNSWorkshops

Led by our passionate current students, UNSWorkshop activities provide Year 9-12 students with a hands-on introduction to a diverse range of study areas available at UNSW Sydney. Interactive and engaging, these activities encourage students to explore key themes within an area of study while building foundational knowledge and an understanding of tertiary and career pathways within this field. Workshops can be run out at your school, via live-stream or as part of a campus tour experience on campus at UNSW.

These workshops are delivered by UNSW Arts and Social Sciences, UNSW Built Environment and UNSW Engineering as well as student societies including CompClub, CREATE NSW Inc., Engineers Without Borders UNSW, Engineering World Health and RoboGals. View our list of 2020 UNSWorkshops to see what workshops are available.

UNSWorkshop booking requests must be received at least four weeks in advance. Workshop availabilities and student capacities will vary according to each workshop.

Please note: In light of COVID-19, we are transitioning several UNSWorkshops to be delivered via live-stream. Currently, the Faculty of Arts and Social Science’s media workshops are available to be delivered remotely either with students joining from home or in a classroom.
